Campaign launched to teach all school children CPR

The British Heart Foundation wants every child to learn CPR, so they leave school knowing how to save a life.

Bolton footballer Fabrice Muamba was given CPR when he collapsed on the pitch from a cardiac arrest in March.
A cardiac arrest is when the heart suddenly stops pumping blood around the body.
Each year, about 27,000 people in the UK die from a cardiac arrest outside hospital and the British Heart Foundation thinks this could be cut if more people knew CPR.
CPR (short for cardiopulmonary resuscitation) isn't compulsory in schools at the moment. It involves pressing down on someone's chest and you need to be trained in order to do it safely.
The Department for Education says it's down to head teachers to decide if they want to teach CPR in their schools. If your school doesn't teach CPR, you can still learn it outside school, through organisations such as the Scouts and St John Ambulance.

Justin Bieber caused a frenzy at London's Heathrow airport when he tipped off fans he was arriving there, causing nearly 100 fans to show up! JB was forced to run through the mob to his waiting car outside.
 He was arriving in London to promote his new album 'Believe' that will be released in June, and is set to include duets from Taylor Swift and his mentor Usher. 

Lovable Rogues

So it seems everyone is talking about the Lovable Rogues. I had the pleasure of seeing their live Britains Got Talent audition in Cardiff and it was amazing! They were asked to perform a couple of songs, but only one was shown on Saturdays show. Seeing how they are a hot topic at the minute, I thought I would post a bit more about them and post some of their performances.

Biography

Loveable Rogues are a young multi talented group consisting of three fun loving lads who are establishing their rightful place within the music industry with their aim of creating a new style of music which isn’t defined by a specific genre.

The Loveable Rogues have performed at gigs around the UK and are regular performers at LiVE GEMS at London’s Chinawhite & Christmas special 2010 at the Hilt...on Hotels’ Park Lane Whisky Mist Night Club.

Last year the lads won The Jack Wills Unsigned Competition 2010
from which they received the opportunity to perform at the prestigious Jack Wills Varsity Polo Event. They have recently performed at the launch of Marley's Mellow Mood drink at The 100 Club & have been working hard in the recording studio, recording their tracks of which they have written themselves...

Emperor Tizoc decided to terrify all the other tribes in Mexico with a huge massacre. He took every single man from three Mixtec tribes, 20,000 men, and sent them for sacrifice. It terrified the other tribes in Mexico all right but it also disgusted them. They learned to hate the Aztecs. They knew they would have to wait, but one day their chance would come to overthrow the vicious heart-ripping people. And it did.

The World Of Moshi Monsters

Moshi Monsters is a free online game for kids, where they may adopt a monster and look after it. Kids whose parents give us their approval can become 'users' on the site, and can adopt a Moshi Monster. Kids care for their monster by solving puzzle games, which earn their monster virtual rewards called Rox. Kids can spend Rox on virtual items like food, furniture and other treats and toys for their monster. Over time their monster will increase in level, be able to visit new locations in Monstro City, and earn all kinds of in-game rewards for playing. Monster owners will also be able to make friends with other owners and leave messages on their pages.


                                                      THE MONSTERS:


There are six different types of Moshi Monster that you can adopt in the Moshi Monsters online game.
1. Katsuma
Katsumas are rabbit-like creatures with personalities similar to that of a cat. They are probably the most commonly adopted creatures playable on the game. They speak Katsumanese with a “squishy” voice which varies in pitch depending on their mood. Like all monsters, Katsumas love levelling up.
Katsumas are adopted by both male and female players.
2. Poppet
A Poppet is a type of monster found on the Moshi Monsters website. One of the most common choices amongst users, Poppets are mostly popular with girls due to their adorable look and personality. Although, some sensitive boys also choose Poppets. Their language is called Poppetanium. Like Luvlis, Poppets are almost exclusively females due to their timid personalities and cute appearances.
3. Diavlo
Diavlos are one of the monsters adoptable on Moshi Monsters. Diavlos are mostly adopted by boys due to their devilish personalities. However, like Poppets, their appearances are cute, making them popular with girls as well. Their Diavlian accents are generally high and croaky.
4. Luvli
Luvlis are one of the six playable species of monsters on Moshi Monsters. All Luvlis speak Luvling. Luvlis also look like cherries and like Poppets, are almost exclusively females due to their feminine appearances and voices. Girls are most likely to pick a Luvli. Luvlis are the fourth most popular monster in the game.
5. Furi
Furis are friendly and like a cuddle. They always look a bit depressed, but that’s just natural! They are lively and fun creatures, perfect for both girls and boys. When a Furi is angry, it’s best to leave it alone to let off some steam. But, we all get like that sometimes!
Furis are very popular in Moshi Monsters, as they are easy to colour and fun and amusing to play with!
6. Zommer

Zommers are one of the six types of monster you can choose to adopt. They are fluent in speaking Zommeranian and they are the least commonly adopted monster, probably because of their ghoulish appearances. When Zommers are adopted, they are mostly chosen by boys. Zommers are almost exclusively males.
